After claiming responsibility for the deadly
attacks that claimed 132 lives in Paris, France, and for the second time
this week, terrorist sect Islamic State has threatened to blow up the
office and residence of the President of the United States, the White
House.
This is contained in a new video footage titled Paris before Rome
released on Thursday, where a turbaned man hints at potential suicide
attacks and car bombings on US soil.
An earlier video targeted at the US released by IS earlier in the
week showed the jihadists threatening to blow up New York, showing
images of Times Square, Herald Square and Manhattan.
Yet another released on Monday showed the terrorist saying the US
capital, Washington DC will be attacked the way Paris was attacked.
The jihadists warned other countries against the example set by
French President Francoise Hollande and US President Barack Obama,
claiming they would blow up the latter’s official residence because it
contained false idols.
In a reaction to the video directed at New York, the police in the
state have confirmed seeing the video, while affirming that they are
vigilant.
However the police say there is no current specific threat to the city at the moment.
