Why presidential election comes first, jega

first of all, on the issue of why did we issue a timetable in which you said the presidential election comes first, if you look at our timetable, the presidential election is not first; it will take place together with the National Assembly election.

In 2011, our timetable was first, the National Assembly election, then the Presidential election, and governorship and state Assembly elections

Since then, people were saying do all elections in one say. We came out clean and we said we did not have the capacity to do all elections in one day for now. Yes, other countries are doing it ,it a good practice but we are not in a position to do it, again for many reasons.

Look at the issue of illetracy. if we have such higher level of illitracy, to give in one day five ballot papers to evry voter and expects them to go mark them and put them in different boxes, alot of ballot papers will be wasted; it will be voided. you have to sort out all these results and announce them,

which is very complicated.
